The Bat Cage

There is nothing like the sound of a bat smashing a ball, the pop a ball makes in the glove or the cheers as someone slides in safe at home. And it is definitely that time of year! Little League Baseball practice can be seen in nearly every park in the community. Spring is the time for baseball and also for North Texas the time for crazy weather. This has been horrible in the past for trying to have baseball practice. Locally, we had one indoor batting cage. This cage was filthy, had no parking and was not kept up. They usually only had one person working and had little to no customer service. Not anymore!

We have been to The Bat Cage several times for our team practice. I was more than impressed to say the least! The facility was large. The staff was friendly and had a minimum of 8 people working. The Bat Cage was packed. I know that I was impressed, but the sheer number of people at The Bat Cage spoke for itself.

The Bat Cage opened in Rowlett about 6 weeks ago. They have batting cage rentals, strength training areas and token machines. They offer specials for teams, birthday parties and even free Wi-Fi! Other interesting things they offer are parents’ night out, dodge ball and a weight loss clinic. Now, if I could just purchase a membership for my boys-we would be set!

The Bat Cage is located at 3601 Lakeview Parkway #200, Rowlett. Don’t forget to be The Bat Cage’s Friend on FaceBook to hear about their latest specials!
