Soulman’s Bar-B-Que

Soulman’s Bar-B-Que has always been a favorite to our family. They have been around since 1974 and have proved to be a great bar-b-que restaurant in the Lake Ray Hubbard Area. From their giant portions of meat to the huge baked potatoes, you will not walk away hungry. We have always loved getting the Chuckwagon Special. For under $30, you get meat, veggies and bread. It is way more than a family of 4 can eat! I have also had them cater an event and they raves about the food and service were astonighing. I love it when someone make me look good. But the reason I am including Soulman’s on the 365 Things to do is not only for their Bar-B-Que, they have a to die for all you can eat breakfast! Yes, breakfast! The men of our church frequently have “men’s meetings” for breakfast at Soulman’s. I have never quiet understood it until my husband let me in on their secret this past weekend. We visited the Soulman’s in Rockwall. To my suprise it was packed at 9:00 am on a Saturday morning. For $6.99 adults get an all you can eat breakfast. The Breakfast included eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, ham, pancakes, french toast, biscuits, gravy and more. It was not your run of the meal breakfast buffet, either! It was out of this world! So, next time you are looking for a great breakfast in Mesquite, Terrell, Royse City or Rockwall be sure to try Soulman’s Bar-B-Que. And if you want to stick around to lunch you can try the baked potatoe of sliced beef sandwich, they are my favorite.
