Labor Day is here. Sadly, this means that summer is inevitably coming to a close. Rather than mourn another summer gone, why not celebrate it with one last hoorah. Do you have any plans for the weekend? If not, allow the Dream Connectors to guide you towards the fun!
70th Annual Garland Labor Day Parade
Fun for the entire family! The Garland Labor Day Parade begins at 9 a.m. Monday morning. Grown & Sexy Labor Day Eve Sunday Night Jam
In the mood to dance yourself silly? Then Howard’s Catfish Café in Mesquite is where it’s at Sunday night. This event will feature comedy, poetry, and live music from the band Groove Machine. Howard’s is located at 1038 Pioneer Road and the event is happening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Labor Day Weekend Pool Party at Allure
Allure Restaurant at Chandler’s Landing in Rockwall is ending their summer season with a bang! Beginning Saturday, they will be opening the bar on the lower patio at noon and the fun will begin. The pool will be open for all Chandler’s Landing residents and any guests you may have. There will be a waterslide and a DJ until 4:00. The best part about this is it’s gonna happen again on Sunday….and on Monday, too!
Let’s not forget about the Lake! Why not take this opportunity to get out on the water and enjoy this beautiful state we live in. Whatever you decide to do, be safe and HAVE FUN!
